Support Multipe lines of text and Yes/No columns, embedded mode for Microsoft Teams

  1. Be able to filter documents on “Single line of text” columns:
    • If documents are tagged with “Single line of text” values (a metadata field where users can add any free-text to the field, in one line), users are now able to click on the values, from the document view, and the documents will be filtered and just show documents tagged with the filtered value.
    • When uploading/creating new documents, after a “single line of text” filtering has been applied, the value are also prefilled in the document property form.
  2. Support for “Multiple lines of text” columns:
    • MetaShare now supports “Multiple lines of text” columns (a metadata field where users can add any free-text to the field, in multiple lines):

These columns can now be edited in MetaShare’s document property forms.
  3. Support for “Yes/No (checkbox)” columns:
    • MetaShare now supports “Boolean” columns (a metadata field with a “Yes”/”No” checbox):
      Boolean column
These columns can now be edited in MetaShare’s document property forms.
  4. Be able to hide certain MetaShare elements when embedding MetaShare in other applications:
    • If you want to add MetaShare as a tab in a Microsoft Teams channel, you can now choose to hide these elements: MetaShare’s top bar and MetaShare’s left navigation (document filters):
MetaShare embedded in teams without top frame and filter navigation
This is done by adding “$embedded=true” as a query string parameter to the URL of the page, e.g. https://app.metashare.com/#/workspaces/45?$embedded=true.
  5. We have increased the maximum number of values that can be shown in the the drop-down of a managed metadata column from 75 to 150:
