For example, most e-commerce sites use metadata to make things easier for users. When shopping online, metadata helps you find what you want to buy by filtering and searching for the item. MetaShare works the same way.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"gb-container gb-container-8d824ccd gb-container-contained-small\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-4c40bdf5 gb-container-contained-small-inner\">\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Documents are tagged with different metadata<\/strong> when you create or upload a document, such as an <em>agreement<\/em> and <em>customer<\/em> or other metadata that is important for your business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MetaShare <strong>helps the user to find by searching and filtering<\/strong>. By (for example) filtering by <em>contract <\/em>and <em>customer <\/em>, the user quickly finds the contracts that apply to a specific customer. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You choose which metadata you want to use and how you want to <strong>build your structure<\/strong> in MetaShare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MetaShare is fully integrated with Office 365 and installs as a shell on top of Office 365 and SharePoint.
